Michael Preiss Obituary
West Branch - Michael John Preiss, 55, of West Branch, Michigan, passed away December 7, 2020. He was born to parents Emmanuel Edward Preiss and Evelyn Jean Maddock, on April 16, 1965 in Dearborn, Michigan.
Michael attended Fordson High School where he graduated in 1983.
Michael worked as an Assembly Line Worker for 14 years. After 14 years of service, he retired from Ford Motor Company in 2007.
Michael met Meresa Sue Preiss in 1996. They were married on 06-25-1999 in Livonia, Michigan. Together they raised 2 children; Crystal Cherise Kash and Tyler Anthony Carter Caygill.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and fixing up projects around the house. Michael is survived by his wife, Meresa Sue Preiss, children; Crystal (Anthony) Kash, Tyler Anthony Carter-Caygill, and grandchildren; Lexi Bryant, Jada Kash, and Hunter Caygill. He is also survived by his mother Evelyn Preiss, and siblings; Jim Preiss, Nancy (Paul) Hynes, Kenneth (Cyndi) Preiss, Donald (Teresa) Preiss, Steven (Vanessa) Preiss, along with 14 nephews and nieces, 10 great nephews and nieces and the dog children he shared with his wife: Brutus, Rocco, Zeus and Max.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emmanuel Edward Preiss.

You were and are the BEST Dad I could of asked for. Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever. This is the price you pay for having a great father.
