Olga Loizon Obituary
- - Olga passed away January 21, 2019 surrounded by the love of her family. Age 92 of Birmingham. Olga was an inspiration to so many, both personally and professionally. Founder of Olga's Kitchen. In 2011, Olga was awarded the Prestigious Esteemed Woman of Michigan award. In 2017, Greektown Preservation Society honored Olga for her contribution to Greek Culture in Michigan. Beloved wife of John W. Loizon for 72 years. Dear mother of Emily Kontos (the late Spyro), William (Mary Cay) and Ernest. Loving YaYa of Angelo and Katina. Sister of the late Alexander Zoyes (the late Dino) and Costa Patrick (Kay). Also several nieces, nephews, godsons and goddaughters. Funeral services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes to the Olga Loizon Memorial Foundation, 17800 Laurel Park Dr. North, Suite 200C, Livonia, MI 48152. A.J. Desmond & Sons (248) 549-0500.
