PAUL VALKO Obituary

Age 48 of Oakland. April 22, 2006. Loving husband of Debra. Dear father of Katie and Colleen. Beloved son of Frank and Patricia. Brother of Bryan (Laurie), Keith (Donna) Valko, and Lisa (Mike) Hackert. Godfather of Theresa, Angie, Alex, Matthew, Erik and Derek. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul was an employee of EDS for over 20 years. Paul was an amateur radio operator (W8KC), a member of the Auburn Hills Optimist Club, taught religious ed at St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed working with the girl's track team at Lake Orion High School. He loved all things electronic. Special times were spent with family and friends at his cottage, "The Little House". He will be most remembered for his love of family, friends and fun. Funeral Mass Friday, April 28, 2006, 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Rd., Lake Orion. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6-9 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. scripture service and Thursday 3-9 p.m. at the Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell, Orion. Interment Guardian Angel Cemetery. Suggested memorials to the family for a future Scholarship Fund at Lake Orion High School in memory of Paul. Online Guestbook: www.modetzfuneralhomes.com
