Aaron Mark White passed away suddenly at a Dallas hospital on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014. He was 42 years old. Celebration of life: 12:30 p.m. Friday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Not long ago, in an earthly galaxy, Aaron "Shumpy" was born. Aaron's hospital birth certificate says "instantaneous" cry. Kindergarten, first conference, his teacher said parents of girls asked, "which one is Aaron White?" So it began, full of life from the beginning. Aaron didn't "like" things, he loved or hated things. He defined collector: Star Wars, Jimmy Buffett, Stars hockey, UT Longhorns. Even his clothes and truck had to make a statement of who he was. He was a magnet for friendship, a bone-popping, whisker-kissing hugger. He brought sunshine with him to a party or family gathering. His barefoot beach wedding to Molly, and his baby Jedi (Mac) made his dream family complete. Yoda said, "Adventure. Excitement. A Jedi craves these things." This was one side of Aaron. But he craved family time with just Molly, Mac and himself, and maybe a good movie. There was disturbance in the Force on Sept. 2. His earthly family and friends lost Aaron "Shumpy," but heaven gained an angel, and we are left with precious memories. We remember him a thousand different ways, when we look at the stars, hear a song, see his picture, a place. Remember, missing Aaron is a part of loving him. Survivors: He was survived by his wife, Molly King White; son, "Mac" McNaren Jeryl White; mother, Nancy Hillery White; father, Jeryl Edwin White; brothers, Nathan Brandon White and wife, Megan, Andrew Jordan White and fiancee, Kady; nephew, Cole White; nieces, Caroline White and Campbell White. His four-legged friends, Chewbacca and Leia, will miss him walking through the door. Numerous friends and relatives are left to cherish his memory.

I just saw this now. I´m so sorry to hear this, and remember him as a vivacious little boy when we visited Nancy and Jeryl. I´m pretty sure we all went to see Star Wars together when it came out. At any rate, I definitely his Star Wars love at that time. We haven´t seen them since 70´s. My husband Dick passed Dec 9, same year 2014. I don´t know if you will get this after so long. I´m so sorry!

All my prayers are with the White family. I am simply shocked to hear this news. I knew Aaron since elementary school we lived 2 doors down. I haven't seen him in a few years but I can see how happy and full his life was. May God be with his wife and family.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Aaron. I was introduced to him on Facebook thru Molly. I had the wonderful experience of watching their love unfold. Their dating, the wedding, the birth of Mac. So many happy pictures. So much love. If Mac ever needs to know about his Dad, he can look at the wonderful love story on FB. I wish Molly and Mac along with the entire family peace in the wonderful memories.

I was very sad to hear about Shumpy's passing. Even though I have not seen him in a few years, I have many fond memories of hanging out with him at Bennigan's and attending his famous Halloween parties he organized with another friend, John "Growler". I worked with Aaron way back in the late 80s at Steak and Ale in Bedford. Even though it was a brief time, he was so charismatic, he left a huge impression on me enough that as soon as I saw his name, I knew who it was. He was a really funny, funny guy. My condolences to his friends and family, he was very special, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Words can not begin to describe the shock and sadness we feel at hearing this news. Our hearts are heavy with sorry for the entire White family.
