James "Jim" Marvin Chadwick ARLINGTON--James "Jim" Marvin Chadwick, 69, passed away on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, in Arlington, Texas. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at the Arlington Moose Lodge, 3210 Pleasant Valley Lane, Arlington, Texas, 76015. Please bring your favorite memories of Jim to share. Jim was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., on Aug. 7, 1949, to Glenn and Dorothy Bishop Chadwick. He was the only brother to his four sisters, Sandie, Kathie, Judi, and Ruth. He graduated from Wyoming Park High School in 1967. Jim married his soulmate, Dorothy Koenen Chadwick, in 1974. They would raise five children during their 44-year marriage. The family moved to Texas in 1983 where Jim would finally realize his dream of becoming an entrepreneur and ran Attic Estate Sales for 14 years. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Chadwick, and his sisters, Sandie Walton and Kathie Lawson. SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Lucky Chadwick Pepper; son, David and wife, Angela Chadwick; son, Joel and wife, Sondra Chadwick; daughter, Stephanie and husband, Ron Montesdeoca; son, James and wife, Keri Chadwick; mother, Dorothy Bishop Chadwick; and sisters, Judi Chadwick and Ruth McBride-Comfort. He leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
