Janice Ann Bowlin Weaver, 65, died Friday, March 2, 2012, in Houston. Memorial service: A private service is pending. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Robert E. Greiner School for the Handicapped, P.O. Box 45, Lawton, Okla. 73502. Janice was born Sept. 4, 1946, in Fort Worth, to Francis Harold and Myrtle Thelma Burchfield Bowlin. She attended and graduated from Polytechnic High School and Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service before marrying and raising a family. She moved to Lawton in 1980, and later attended Cameron University. She taught vocational home economics, life skills, and family and consumer science at Tomlinson Junior High School for more than 23 years, retiring in 2008. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and a stepbrother, Ron Bowlin. Survivors: Sons, Robert G. Weaver and Stephen R. Weaver, both of Houston; brother, Larry L. Bowlin and wife, Kathy, of North Richland Hills; and nephews, Donald R. Bowlin of North Richland Hills, Christopher L. Bowlin of Fort Worth, and Andrew K. Bowlin and wife, Amanda, of San Antonio.
