Arlington, Texas - Mildred Ann (Moore) Williams, 91, departed this earth to join God, Jesus, and her loving husband Bill in Heaven on Oct. 8, 2022.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, at Arborlawn United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow. Interment: Brown Cemetery, Aledo. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood.
Mildred was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Mary's Creek, Texas to Wade and Ruth Moore. Upon graduating from the Texas Christian University School of Nursing, she began her career in nursing as a registered nurse. Mildred married Aylmer Bryan (Bill) Williams Oct. 23, 1954, in Aledo, Texas. Both were lifelong members of Arborlawn United Methodist Church. Using their keen wit, fantastic sense of humor and a hairbrush or two, they raised five children. Mildred's love of travel took her to many domestic and foreign locations including Australia, Hawaii, Jerusalem, Alaska and her final adventure to Paris, France. Mildred never missed an opportunity to help someone in need, especially if children were involved.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Lovett (Toby); sons, Rusty Williams (Ellen), Jerry Williams (Colleen), Johnny Williams (Sue), and Aylmer Bryan Williams, Jr., (JoAnn); brother, Wade Moore (Sharon); and numerous nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
