Dear Terry and famuily: My deepest sympathy in your tragic loss. I knew your awesome and precious Mom when she worked in the City Attorney's Office and I worked next door in the Mayor's Office. We loved walking down to Lazarus and having lunch. She was difficult to keep up with! After her stroke I visited her in the nursing home and she was as pretty and sweet as ever. I pray your pain is quickly replaced by all the beautiful memories she left you. I'm the Sandi that you were so nice to while building my Linworth Village home.

When my late husband (Bill Maxwell) was with Stouffer's Evelyn was a key person. I remember what a gracious lady she was. You have my most sincere sympathies.

Evelyn was receptionist when I moved from the prosecutor's office to the civil division of the City Attorney's office in 1986. She was a lovely lady. I know her family will miss her and her cheerfulness. Eileen Pruett

I delivered the Columbus Dispatch to Mrs O'Keefe 40+ years ago. She was the kindest, most gentile woman and always made me feel special. My heart and prayers go out to the O'Keefe family in this difficult time. May the peace of Christ be with all of you.

Evelyn came into my life when she became the receptionist at the Columbus City Attorney's Office. We became very good friends. I got married in 1995 and then my husband also became a good friend to Evelyn. We lived very close to her in northwest Columbus. I retired 1995, but kept in very close touch with Evelyn all these years. We moved to Minnesota to be near my daughter and family, but whenever we traveled back to Ohio to visit friends and relatives, we always went to see Evelyn. The last time we visited with her was May 2009. We are so glad we got to see her at that time. She will be missed by so very many.
We know that I Thessalonians 4:13-18 gives us great comfort at this time.
