Legges and I were friends for many years and we were close in the 70's to the mid 90's. Here is one special story (there are many great stories about Legges)My wife and I owned a restuarant in Whitehall and he helped us remodel. When we got robbed and were scared to continue working, Jimmy came from his day job and hung around our pizza place till midnight. He was our "security blanket". He did this for us and did it for almost a year. I lost contact a few years back, but I'll never forget him. To his family, you indeed lost someone special...ken and pammer hawkins, N Myrtle Beach, SC

I just found out about your loss of Jimmy. Me and Jim were really close friends while we worked at the telephone co. I was just thinking of him not to long ago that I needed to visit him and see how he was doing. I think the lord was trying to tell me something and I should have listened. We worked so good together while we were in buildings with Ameritech. I will cherish those fond memories of him till that day I can meet him again in heaven as with all of us. I still remember so many of those old sayings that he always told me that I thought were so funny. I think the last time I saw Jim was when he came to the ternstedt lane garage with his new dodge truck that he bought and he needed to borrow a tool that I had for some air conditioning work. That now seems so long ago. I will surely miss him and I my heart truly goes out to both of you. If you need a friend to talk to you can call me on 865-235-5115; Steve.
