Lewis Marvin Cox

Cox Lewis Marvin Cox, 89, of London, passed away April 18, 2017. Born May 11, 1927 in Madison County. Retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. Member of the UAW local 969. He was a Navy Veteran WW II. Member American Legion Post 201, Madison Lodge 221 F&AM and West Jefferson United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by parents Lincoln Lewis and Melissa (Streator) Cox, brother Frank Cox, sister Emma Jo Faust. Lewis is survived by wife, Claudia of 70 years. Survived by one son, Ron (Mary Ann) Cox; two grandchildren, Daniel (Kelly) Cox, Melissa (Darryl) McInroy; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Jacob Cox; five step great grandchildren all of Michigan. The Cox family will receive friends Friday April 21, 2017, 2- 4 and 6-8 p.m. Masonic Service, 7:30 p.m. at RADER-McDONALD-TIDD Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson, Ohio. Graveside Service, PLEASANT HILL CEMETERY West Jefferson, Ohio, Saturday, April 22, 2017, 11 a.m. with Full Military Service.
