WOLF (FOWLER) Marianne (Fowler) Wolf, age 91, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, born in Sioux City, Iowa on December 20, 1915, died at Carriage Court in Hilliard on Sunday, October 28, 2007. Preceded in death by parents Nina Robinson and Bert Fowler, husband Richard Rudolph Wolf; beloved granddaughter Annette Livingston, sisters and brothers-in-law Theo and Don Moore, Clarence and Alice Wolf, nephew David Wolf, nephew-in-law Keith Carson and best friend Alice Maynard. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Betty Swartz (Jeffery), Sally Livingston, Susan Wolf (Jerry Collamore); sons, Dennis Wolf (Jackie), James Wolf (Jane); granddaughter, Connie Welz (Rob); great-grand-daughter, Madisen; nieces, Norma Dudiak (Nick), Theo Christine Carson; niece-in-law, Delores Wolf; and beloved best friend and cousin, Margaret Wallace. Marianne Wolf devoted her life to a number of passions: the love of all animals, a devotion to God and her Catholicism, tolerance of different beliefs and religions and the love of learning. While still a teenager in the depression, she graduated from high-school one year early as a National Honor Society member, and worked full-time supporting her mother. She raised five children and went back to work at the age of fifty serving as a librarian at the OSU College of Agriculture and then the Columbus Children's Hospital. She was a member of the Saint Mary Magdalene Church for over fifty years and served as a Eucharistic minister into her mid 80's. She also served as a long-time volunteer for the Franklin County Senior Tax Assistance Program, and as a volunteer tutor and librarian assistant for Highland Elementary School. She was an active member in the local Christian Women's Club, the Young at heart Club, and served as a volunteer and member at McDowell Senior Citizen Center. Marianne was a generous giver, despite her limited income, donating to many causes related to third-world hunger, care for children, and care for animals. Perhaps most important about Marianne was her love and kindness to all living things. When she read these words, her eyes would fill with tears: "He prayeth best, who loveth best, All things both great and small, For the dear God who loveth us, He made and loveth all." Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 31, from 4-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, November 1, 2007. Fr.
