DARRELL AND Denise: My most sincere sympathy on the loss of your son. Perhaps you don' remember me as it has been years since we have seen each other, but I was a partner in the Red Brick Inn and worked at the Ohio State Bank. I remember making you your first loan. I was in the Top 20 Club with John Foster. I now live at Indian Lake having retired in Florida and doing the reverse by coming back here after retiring. Take comfort in knowing that you have much support and plenty of prayers are being said. Don't hesitate to lean on any of your many friends as they want to help and expect to help. I never got to meet Mike but if he has your charater and qualities it was my loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

It may be, for six or seven years, or twenty-two or three, but you will till I call him back, take care of him for me? He will bring his charms, to gladden you, and should his stay be brief, you'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief. I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return, but there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn. I've looked the world wide over, in search for teachers true, and from the throngs that crowd life lanes, I have selected you. Now will you give him all your love nor think the labor vain, nor hate me when I come to call, to take him back again? I fancied that I heard them say, "Dear Lord, thy will be done." For all the joy thy child will bring, the risk of grief will run. We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may, and for the happiness, we've known, forever grateful stay. But should the angels call him, much sooner than we've planned, we'll brave the bitter grief, that comes and try to understand. I am so saddened by the loss of Michael my heart is hurting. I will always be just a phone call away. With deepest sympathy to Darrell, Denise and Jeff.
