Rebecca S. Harkless

1950 - 2015

Harkless Rebecca S. Harkless, of Hilliard, born October 16, 1950, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 while in hospice care after battling Leukemia. Rebecca worked at Riverside Hospital Cafeteria for more than 25 years. She had a giving and caring heart and smiled to everyone who passed her way, even while battling Leukemia. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Eugene Harkless; daughter, Haydee (Richard) Wilson; step-son, Alan (Terrie) Harkless; three granddaughters; one sister; two brothers; 12 nieces and nephews; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 at The Chapel of Light located on the grounds of Kingwood Memorial Park, 8230 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center. Rebecca's family would like to thank the staff at Riverside Hospital, Bing Cancer Center and Dr. Blair for providing the best care during her illness.
