Elton Ferrell Obituary
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at Zion Chapel Baptist Church at New Albany. Minister Vickie McNeil will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his children, De'Andre (Keava) Ferrell of Corning, Ark., and Darrien Ferrell of Aurora, Ill.; his mother, Macy Ferrell of New Albany; sisters, Lou Hayens of Aurora, Ill, Minister Vickie McNeil and Grace Goree of New Albany; brothers, Paul Ferrell of Memphis, W.T. Ferrell and Harvie (Brenda) Ferrell of Aurora, Ill., John (Alice) Ferrell of Columbus, Ohio, Hugh (Ollie) Ferrell of Fort Worth, Texas, Hayes (Charlene) Ferrell of Lithonia, Ga.; the mother of his children, Alfreda Ferrell of Aurora, Ill.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; and two sisters, Lora Ferrell Spikener and Adgria Ferrell Jones.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
