Bobby Pitts Obituary
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, Feb. 14, at Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood with the Rev. David Keever officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Pitts was born July 23, 1959, in Houston County, son of Billy and Sara Pitts. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Pitts; grandparents, Sam and Eula McCall and Thomas and Lena Pitts.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Pitts Enfinger, Dothan; two sons, Nathan Pitts, Dothan and Calvin Pitts, Mandeville, La.; his mother, Sara McCall Pitts, Cottonwood; two sisters, Peggy Hall, Asheville, N.C., and Nancy Knowles and husband, Terry Knowles, Cowarts; one brother, J.R. Pitts and wife, Sue Pitts, Florida; three grandchildren, Kellie and Nicholas Bowman and Jada Enfinger, all of Slocomb; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Matt Clark, Barry Clark, Keith Traylor, Chip Westberry, David Coleman, Jimmy Andress, Tim Pitts and Chuck McCall.
Kent-Thorton-Meadows Funeral Home of Dothan, (334) 793-1117, is in charge of arrangements.
