Elaine Bradley Obituary

Elaine Dolores Bradley Jan. 22, 1931 ~ Sept. 21, 2009 Resident of Oakley Elaine departed this life on September 21, 2009 at the age of 78. She was born January 22, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Emmett and Myrtle Smith. Her family moved to the Antioch area in 1946. Upon completing high school, she married James "Hank" Bradley who preceded her in death in 2005. Elaine was the second child born to her parents and she outlived four brothers and a twin sister. She worked outside the home in several different jobs, only after her four children were grown. She enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo and watching different sporting events with her family. Her favorite moments were the times that she spent with her family. She is survived by her four children and their spouses: ;James "Chuck" Bradley (Susan), Cynthia Thornton (Ralph), Lon Bradley (Kathi) and Ron Bradley (Cindi). She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. We wish to thank the many physicians and staff members of both Sutter Delta and The Diamond Ridge Care facilities. A viewing will be held on Sunday, September 27 from noon to 4pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Antioch. Graveside services will be held at Oak View Cemetery in Antioch on Monday, September 28 at 11am.
