Lawrence Beasley Obituary
Resident of Pacheco
Lawrence Horace (Buck) Beasley III, 41, of Pacheco, California passed away on November 25,2012 after a valiant battle with brain cancer. Buck was born April 17, 1971 in Covington, KY. He grew up in Huntsville, AL graduating from Grissom High School in 1989. He moved to California in 1993 and fell in love with Deirdre O'Leary. They were married in 1997 and had two sons. In Buck's early career he was a talented graphic artist and later a successful sales manager. Buck's greatest joy was spending time with his and Deirdre's families and friends. He was a wonderful father and a devoted husband. He and his sons had a passion for skate boarding, dirt bike riding, and any sport that involved wheels. Buck loved life and was the life of the party everywhere he went.
Buck is survived by his wife of 15 years, Deirdre O'Leary Beasley, his sons Lawrence Horace (Luke) Beasley IV and Connor Michael Beasley, his father Lawrence H Beasley Jr, his step-mother Sue Beasley, his mother Carolyn House Rountree, his brothers Bradley Michael Beasley and James Henry Beasley, his sister Anne Beasley Holmes, his mother-in-law Loretta O'Leary and the entire O'Leary family.
The Rosary will be held at Oak Park Hills Chapel on Friday, November 30 at 7:00 pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday December 1, 2012 at Christ the King Church, 199 Brandon Road, Pleasant Hill, CA at 10:30 am. Express condolences

For some reason Lawrence came to mind and I googled him, only to find this terrible news. Even though it has been awhile I want to offer my condolences. He obviously died way too young!
He was always such a kind man and a gentleman. He was so fun to work with and I have a fond memory of you calling him and asking for "Buck". No one knew him at work by that name, so the explanation of his nickname followed.
I hope life has offered you some new joy to add to your memories of him.

Lawrence, you were one of kind & very kind! I learned a lot about graphics w/ you @ team design & sure enjoyed your sense of humor & knowledge. Especially that time you & Jason played that X Files theme song trick on me that got me in trouble @ the time. but it was all in good fun & I sure miss you big guy!! Deirdre & family, I just found out about Lawrence, and I am deeply saddened. Lawrence helped me on marketing projects over the years, and he was one of those rare people that made you feel happy to be around him. He was an amazing man that touched so many lives. His positive spirit was contagious and I'm blessed to have known him. Lawrence hired me at North American Title and I had the pleasure of sitting next to him and listening to his stories for a couple of years before he left the company. He was larger than life and an absolutely amazing boss, friend, dad...he talked about his boys every day. I loved working for him and I loved knowing him. This is so sad. I'm so sorry for his family. Lawrence will always be one of a kind.
