Rodney Weeks Obituary

Rodney "Rod" Weeks Antioch resident and former Casper, Wyoming resident Rodney A. Weeks, 63 years old died January 17, 2004 of Lung Cancer. Cremation has taken place. Services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday Jan. 24th at Higgins. Rodney was born in Casper, Wyoming, January 11, 1941, one of four sons of Erwin and Ellen Weeks. He was raised and educated in Casper, graduating from Natrona County High School in 1959. Rodney married Pat Nye in 1959 and had one son in 1962. The couple later divorced and Rodney moved to California where he lived the remainder of his life. Rodney was a self-employed house painter most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, golf and pool, winning many pool tournament trophies. Rodney's companion Joyce Saulter of Antioch, Ca., survives him as well as his son Dr. Scott Weeks, DVM, his wife Sandy and their three children of San Antonio, Texas. Rodney left three brothers - Delwin and wife Arlene of Clifton, Colorado, Gary and wife Donna of Casper, Wyoming, Richard and wife Betty of Smithdale, Mississippi, his Uncle David Coleman of Casper, Wyoming, in addition to several nieces and nephews. Rodney was preceded in death by both his parents.
