Dana Davis Obituary
The lifelong Effingham County native was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving Mom that loved Georgia football, Coca-Cola memorabilia, crabbing and shrimping. She was a transportation coordinator with Johnson Matthey. Dana was preceded in death by her father, Danny Davis.
She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Joyner (Joshua Gaspard); son, Wesley Joyner; mother, Irma Davis; brother, Troy Davis (Tina); uncle, Wank Davis (Dale); and two nephews, Brian and Blake Davis.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 19, at 5 p.m. at Bethesda United Methodist Church.
Burial: Bethesda United Methodist Cemetery
Remembrances: Bethesda United Methodist Church Building Fund, 3608 Midland Rd., Guyton, GA 31312.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news about Dana's passing. I will always remember the good times we shared at work and the love she had for her children and family. Every time I watch a Georgia football game, I will think of Dana.

Mrs. Irma, Troy and family,
I am so sorry to hear the loss of Dana. Although we grew apart during our adulthood, I have so many fond childhood memories with her at the Academy, playing ball together, sleep overs, working school projects together, and hanging out during our teenage years. Hold on to your sweet memories and may God's love continue to comfort you during this difficult time.

I'm in such disbelief over Dana's passing. I have lots of fond childhood memories playing ball with her. Dana will be missed by many.
