Father as my twin ( Fernando ) and I called him - once he asked me to call him Tony - I could not as I had too much respect for him. He asked me to read a book - " the last western" - I now have my own copy. Carlos and Fernando because of Father had a real mentor at St. Charles seminary.

A good man, committed Jesuit priest, from a family with deep roots to mine. Along with other Jesuits of the time, a frequent guest at my parent's home, along with my aunts and uncles Tana, Lupe, Esther, Salvador and Jose, all of whom have passed on. He baptized my daughters Micaela and Maria Angelica, and allowed my Methodist compadre Edward Dunbar when my daughter Stephanie was married at St. Ignatius Church, same as my mother. In the tradition, there will be no mourning, because Jesuits rejoice when they depart to join the God they so faithfully served. Rest in Peace, Padre. Te amamos. Jesus B. Ochoa and daughters -

My dearest and fondest memories of father Concha go back to when George and I were altar boys at Mount Carmel. Father Concha was the youngest of all the preist there and could relate with the youth. I remember needing a car to go take my driving test for the first time, father Concha told me, take my Toyota Corola if you can't pass the test with that little thing forget it. And there I went to the DPS with out a drivers license. Father Concha presided over our wedding and baptized our daugther as well. Father Concha was not only a fantastic person but a TURE SHEPARD to all as well. We love you and well miss you.

Father Concha was my 8th grade religion teacher, but he was more than just a teacher to me. He was influential in my life and a part of my family. Not only had he has given mass for several of our family's sacraments, but he baptized both of my daughters. Our community has lost such a special person, but our memories will keep his spirit alive.

To his family: God's loving arms now embrace him in heaven. May your faith give you strength and comfort in the days to come.
