Eduardo Lucero Obituary

EDUARDO E. LUCERO, 83, passed away Friday, September 17, 2010 in El Paso. He was a longtime resident of Anthony, TX. and had been retired from the Civil Service. Mr. Lucero was a World War II and Korean War Conflict Veteran. He was a 504th Parachute Infantry in the U.S. Army and a Radio Man 3rd Class in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Eufemia B. Lucero, daughters, Edna Hall and Diana Lucero; brothers, Robert (Amelia) Lucero and Albert (Emilia) Lucero; sisters, Martha (Al) Rios and Ernestina (John) Johnson; grandchildren, Nicolette and Erin Hall; great grandchildren, Brianna, Damian and Nadiah; sisters-in-law, Emma and Connie; various nieces, nephews and extended family members. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home – Doniphan Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with time pending. Rite of Committal will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services under the direction of HILLCREST FUNERAL HOME. 5054 DONIPHAN DR. 587-0202

We will always cherish our many memories of visits with Uncle Lalo at the farm. I will always appreciate the opportunity our sons had to learn about earlier Lucero generations.

Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and the Korean War and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
