Jose Contreras Obituary
El Paso - El Paso - Jose Jaime (Joe) Contreras passed away on July 23, 2019. He was 78 years old. Born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, he moved to El Paso with his family. He was a proud Bowie High School class of 1959 alumnus and U.S. Air Force veteran. Joe was a proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife Ana Maria, his daughters Elizabeth Marie Steele, Evelyn Michelle Solorza (Victor), and Emily Margaret Rush (Paddy), six grandchildren, two great granddaughters, brother Victor Daniel Contreras (Elvira), sister Gladys Maria Zamora (Jose) and a large extended family. Graveside Service will be held Friday August 23, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery 5200 Fred Wilson, El Paso, Texas 79906.
José Jaime (Joe) Contreras falleció el 23 de julio del 2019. Tenía 78 años. Nació en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, y se mudó a El Paso con su familia. Era un orgulloso alumno de Bowie High School generación de 1959 y veterano de la Fuerza Aérea de Estados Unidos. Joe era un orgulloso padre, abuelo y bisabuelo. Le sobrevive su esposa Ana María, sus hijas Elizabeth Marie Steele, Evelyn Michelle Solorza (Víctor) y Emily Margaret Rush (Paddy), sus seis nietos, sus dos bisnietos, su hermano Víctor Daniel Contreras ( Elvira), su hermana Gladys María Zamora (José) y una gran familia extensa. El servicio de entierro se llevará a cabo el viernes 23 de agosto del 2019 a las 9:00 a.m. en el cementerio nacional de Fort Bliss, en el 5200 Fred Wilson, El Paso, Texas 79906.
