I do not know where to begin because there were so many happy moments that Betty and I shared. We met both being members of the Isles Yacht Club in Punta Gorda Florida. When Betty gave up driving she asked be to do some errands for her like pick up RX's for her at pharmacies with her riding "shot gun." Do favors like walk with her to her mail box about 150 ft. away.
When the condo was reroofed it cause a ceiling leak in the bathroom discoloring the ceiling. She asked could I paint the ceiling. I did taking about 5 applications of paint. We regularly together did her gardening in the coutyard of her home. I would cut and trim and she would place cuttings in barrels. She offered me one of her plants that she brought to Punta Gorda when she moved there. It is in my garden in Punta Gorda. It bring a smile as I always think of her.
Most importantly she just wanted me to sit and socialize. She had the most precious smile with her twinkling eyes.
Betty will always hold a special place in my heart.

Susan and Karen I would like to express my condolence with the passing of your mother. She is greatly missed by me. Betty and I so much enjoyed our times together. When we did her gardening she was right by my side tossing cuttings in the barrel. She was always upbeat. Yes she had concerns but they never got her dowm.

Take Care, Anita
