Henry Laughman

Henry Laughman, 67, of Hanover, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of Dawn (Gladfelter) Laughman of Hanover for 50 years. Born Oct. 2, 1936, in Greensprings, he was the son of the late Orrington and Katie (Bollinger) Laughman. Mr. Laughman was employed as a truck driver for Penn-Mar Castings in Hanover for 20 years. He was a member of the Republican Club of Hanover. Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Anthony L. Laughman and Randy J. Laughman, both of Hanover, and Gerald E. Laughman of Linglestown; four daughters, Linda D. Laughman, Dawn M. Little, Melissa J. Kitzmiller and Wanda K. Meyers, all of Hanover; one sister, Florence Lucabaugh of Hanover; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Scott A. Laughman, who died in July of 1996; a grandson, Scott A. Laughman Jr.; four brothers, Charles, Monroe, Samuel and Elmer Laughman; and three sisters, Jenny Lang, Mary Lecrone and Rose Hall. The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover. Viewing will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. Pallbearers will be Anthony L. Laughman Jr., Gerald E. Heston, Josh J. Kitzmiller, Brandon L. Laughman, Randy J. Laughman Jr. and Ryan M. Laughman.
