HANOVER John H. Vockroth, Jr., 77, entered into God's eternal care Friday, March 6, 2015, at the York Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Hazel M. I first met John as classmates at St Peter's Cathedral before he changed to attend the Chapel School. Years later he showed up again for a time as a classmate and fellow football player at Scranton Tech. We lost touch until 20 or so years ago when we had a brief exchange of correspondence. He was a super nice person with a most engaging personality and will be sorely missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May he rest in peace.
