Nathan S. Miller

SPRING GROVE Nathan S. Miller, 26, entered into God's eternal care on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, in Baltimore, Md. Born May 27, 1988, in Hanover, he was the son of Sharon (Bobo) Kuykendall of Fairfield and Gerald H. Miller of Spring Grove. Nathan was a graduate of Oxford Christian Academy in 2006. He was employed as a line leader with Hanover Packaging and later as an inspector with R.H. Sheppard Co. While developing a career in Culinary Arts, Nathan was employed with Pizza Hut, Ruby Tuesday's, Bill Bateman's, Damon's Grill, and most recently with Arooga's. Nathan was a member of St. Paul's Dubs U.C.C., Hanover, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hanover, and the Blue Ridge Sportsman's Assn. in Fairfield. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and especially liked playing disc golf and shooting pool. In addition to his parents, Nathan is survived by his maternal grandparents, Ethel and Fred Young of Fairfield; his sister, Stacey DeLos Santos, Galveston, Texas; two nephews, Brandon and Wade; and his uncle and aunt, James E. Miller, PhD and Sara Miller of Chicago, Ill. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clair C. and Dorothy Miller. Final committal of Nathan's cremated remains will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday evening at St. Paul's Dubs Cemetery, 1958 Dub's Church Road, Hanover, with the Rev. Larry M. Estepp officiating. Immediately following the committal, a memorial service to celebrate the life of Nathan will be held at the Pigeon Monument Area of Codorus State Park off of Marina Road not far from the cemetery.
