Timothy Warner Obituary

CATTARAUGUS, N.Y. - Timothy O. Warner, 61, of Cattaraugus, died Saturday evening (March 24, 2018) at Olean General Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family when he went to be with his Savior in Heaven.

Born June 3, 1956 in Cuba, N.Y., he was the son of Fred and Marlies Kuhne Warner, of Belmont, N.Y. He grew up in Belmont but has resided in several neighboring towns, and with a passion for trucking his heart resided in various places across the country with Oklahoma being one of his favorites to travel through.

Tim graduated from Belmont High School and spent the majority of his career in the trucking industry. He started out hauling grain and worked his way into more specialized and flatbed hauling with Southern Tier Express in Andover, N.Y. After 25 years of over the road hauling, he decided he wanted to do more local trucking to spend more time at home and he took a job with Fox Construction in Langford, N.Y., where he worked for over 15 years.

In his free time, Tim enjoyed the outdoors, target shooting his guns, and farming, as well as volunteer work and helping others. He also enjoyed working on his vehicles and spending time with his dog, which he jokingly named "Dog" because that was Tim, always a jokester.

Tim attended the Valley View Baptist Church in Little Valley, N.Y. and took every chance he could to share his faith with others in hopes of leading them to a relationship with his Lord. He was strong in his faith and held onto it throughout his battle.

On Jan. 18, 2003, Tim married the former Roseann Baer Edenhofer, who survives. Surviving also are his parents; three sons, Chad (Sara) Warner of Greenwood, N.Y., Justin (Amanda) Warner of Greenwood, and Kyle (Lindsay) Warner of Conneaut, Ohio; two step-sons, Jason (Alexis Ellis) Edenhofer of West Valley and Robert G. Edenhofer of Springville, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Karis, Ryan, Alexis, McKenzie, and Bria Warner and Mackenzie, Cheyanne, and Madison Bateman; two brothers, Brent (Wanda) Warner of Kosse, Texas and Dean (Della) Warner of Angelica; three sisters, Robie (Jay) Nenno of Pocatello, ID, Susan Warner of Pocatello, ID and Molly (Rolland) Nelson of Cheyenne, Wy.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Valley View Baptist Church, Little Valley, on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken Doyle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

My condolene to all of Tim's family.
I meet Tim many yrs ago, when we would visit my dad's cabin on Hess Rd. Tim was always full of life, I loved hanging out with him. We had some good times. Another angel in heaven, watching over his boys, & grandchildren

In the few times that I was around Tim, I was struck by his faith, his devotion to his family, his work ethic, and his humor. He can be proud of the legacy that he leaves behind, living on in his wonderful family. Praying for all who are saddened during this difficult time.
