Tommy Adams Obituary
Private family services will be held later. Cremation arrangements were by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
A memorial has been established with the Washington County S.P.C.A., 16620 State Highway 123, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003 for those who wish to donate in his memory.
Tommy was born November 14, 1935 in Frederick, Oklahoma, the son of Clarence and Bessie (Pruitt) Adams. He attended Enid Public School Systems in Enid, Oklahoma and graduated from Enid Business College. On March 24, 1956, Tommy and Patsy Davis were united in marriage in Enid, Oklahoma and shared 56 years together. He spent some of his working career in Enid, Oklahoma working with Cornforth Key Shop, Champlin Oil Company and the Enid Business College. Tommy and Pat moved to Bartlesville in 1961 after he accepted a position with Phillips Petroleum Company. After retiring in 1988, he enjoyed playing golf, bowling and skeet shooting.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law and father-in-law and his brother-in-law.
Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Pat, of the home; two brothers, Charles Adams of West Plains, Missouri and Joe Adams Greenville, South Carolina; sister-in-law, Lanora Turner of Andover, Kansas; two brothers-in-law, Gene Diller of Andover, Kansas, Stan Turner of Andover, Kansas; several nieces and nephews.
