Beatrice McGregor Obituary
Leominster
Fitchburg - Beatrice E. (Boucher) McGregor, 94, former longtime resident of Fitchburg passed away peacefully on Monday morning, October 30, 2023 in her residence at Leominster Crossing.
She was born in Fitchburg on November 15, 1928, a daughter of the late Adelard and Anna (Ouellette) Boucher. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in1948 and shortly thereafter went to work for the former ABC Trucking Company. She later went to work for the General Electric Company where her career spanned 32 years prior to her retirement. Bea loved her dogs, and enjoyed, traveling, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Her husband, James E. McGregor passed away in 2016, in addition to her husband she is predeceased by a brother Alfred "Butch" Boucher and his wife Eva of Fitchburg and a sister Rita Vincent and her husband Alphonse of Fitchburg. She leaves numerous nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 18 at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery. A calling hour will be held prior to her funeral on Saturday morning, November 18 from 9-10AM in the Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg. www.andersonfuneralhome.com.
