David Powell Obituary
Titusville, FL
David Powell of Titusville, Florida passed away last week at the young age of 59.
He was survived by his daughter, Brandy Stanley (Robert Stanley) and granddaughter Lilly Stanley all of Tampa, sister Patti Powell of Rockledge, his bonus step-mother Helen Powell of Titusville and many cousins, nieces and nephews. David was predeceased in life by his father, William, mother, Claire and brother Billy. David was born on December 16, 1955 in Miami, Florida and moved to Rockledge in 1966. He graduated from Rockledge High school in 1974 where he played football, baseball and wrestled. He was employed with Pratt and Whitney, Rocketdyne at the Kennedy Space Center for approximately 28 years as a Lead Inspector on the Space Shuttle engines.
David was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins and was an avid golf player in his younger years and for those that knew him well, he loved nothing more than kicking back and listening to Kenny Chesney.
There will be a Celebration of Life for David on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the Rockledge City Hall located on the corner of Barton Blvd., and Huntington Lane from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. David will be greatly missed by his family and friends. You may sign David's guestbook @beckmanwilliamsonviera.com
