HOWARD BOUCHER MELBOURNE Howard Anthony Boucher, 85, a dedicated and loving husband and father,com pleted his earth ly journeys on Monday, August 13, 2007. Howard was born February 14, 1922, in Groveton, NH, the only child of Herbert and Fontie Boucher. Howard was a graduate of Keene, NH High School and Bay Path Jr. College with an Associates degree in Business. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Boston University Magna Cum Laude. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Over the years he has studied at Northeastern Univer sity, Clark University, and the University of Massachusetts. He had spent a year as a John Hay Fellow at the University of California at Berkeley. While serving with Naval Intelligence during World War II, Howard had the oppurtunity to sing with the Glen Miller Orchestra. Howard was an avid reader, traveler and collector of music. He loved sports, having played baseball, basketball, tennis and golf. Howard retired in 1978 after a 30 year career teaching high school social studies in Green field, MA. Howard is surviived by his wife, Elaine; daughter and son in law, Karin and John Bobets ky; a stepdaughter and her fian ce, Carol Teney and Charles Wilson; in-laws, M. Conrad and Marcia Lanoue and his beloved cat Bart. Howard will be missed by all who knew him. The world is a bit poorer with his departure. At Howards request, no serv ices are planned. A private memorial service will be held at his familys convenience. Memorial contributions may be made in Howards name to the South Brevard Animal Adop tion Center, 5100 W.
