Lee - I'm still crying at the drop of a hat. I'm trying to make sense of it all - which is very difficult. The words you had written that your oldest daughter Rachel had read was as if you were talking to us through her and I know you are so extremely proud as how she had the strength through the tears to read the beautiful words you had written over the years about your family. Lee I speak selfishly when I talk about you, you some how were able to put yourself personally in each person you had in your life to make feel special. You were an angel on our earth and you remain an angel. Your Dad called you Bird which was his special name for you as a name of endearment. I'm not sure what type of bird he had in mind all those years - but I see you as a dove. Doves remain with their mate for life, as you have always been loyal to your family and friends all your life. I guess that's where the name Love Doves come from as they are a symbol of love. Lee Ann I'm never, ever going to forget you as we promised one another that we were going to grow old together, go on annual retreats with one another, and even talked about living with one another when we got older. We're not real cousins, but more sisters as we both agreed and I think of your children as nieces rather than second cousins. There is no one in our family that could ever replace you, but I promise you and I will be there for your family, because that's what we are, family with unconditional love. God why did you take her from us. Please help us even though we're not to question. I love you Lee Ann and my heart still aches for you. I miss you dearly. Love your cousin, sister, soul mate and dear friend for ever. Delena p.s. since cousin wasn't an option below I chose sister.

You were the best big sister ever(a friend of mine saw your picture and asked if you were younger than me! I know you would LOVE that.) We will see each other again!! I love you forever!! Susan

Lee Ann was one of the kindest and most beautiful souls I have ever known. She and her equally loving and beautiful daughter Rachel helped me through a very trying time in my life and their love and kindness will stay with me forever. Her smile and sweet voice were genuine and will be missed. My heart goes out to her entire family as I know this will be an unbearable void.
