Leonore Allgood Obituary

Lee peacefully passed away September 9, 2010 with her loving husband at her side at the William Childs Hospice House of Palm Bay.
Deeply loved by her family, Lee is survived by her husband, "Skip"; and children, Dean, and Sherry; and her faithful companion dog, Lightfoot.
Lee was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 20, 1924 and was in the first graduating class at the University of Philadelphia's School of Occupation Therapy. Lee lovingly provided therapy to returning soldiers of World War II at the New York General Hospital. She continued her occupational therapy in Kentucky, retired from the state of Kentucky and moved to Florida in 1984 where she continued her work for ten more years.
Lee was on the advisory board for the Palm Bay Hospital, enjoyed sewing, knitting and traveling and camping with her husband.
Family will greet friends from 5 - 7 pm on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Palm Bay Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 6 pm.
Donations can be made to the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay.

My deepest sympathy in your time of loss.
I still use that big pot she gave me for cooking almost every day, and think of her every time. Many memories....
