Marilyn Eden Obituary
Grant-Valkaria, FL
Marilyn "Lyn" Eden, 85, of Grant-Valkaria passed away on Sunday November 17, 2013 in Palm Bay.
She was the secretary for Eden Insurance in Palm Bay moving to Brevard County in 1959 from Des Moines, IA, and an active member and volunteer for the First Baptist Church of Melbourne.
Survivors include her sons Craig (Donna), Gary (Debby) and Mark (Vi), grandchildren Brett (Heather), Hunter, Alexis and Chris, great-grandchildren Brock and Gage. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday November 22st at 11am at the First Baptist Church of Melbourne.
Donations in her memory may be made to the First Baptist church of Melbourne or William Childs Hospice House.

Lyn, Wayne, Gary, Craig and Mark were among the first family of friends our family made when we moved to Melbourne Beach during the early 60s. Lyn was always a special friend of my mother, Flo, and she and Wayne were always very kind and generous in their hospitality towards us throughout the years. Lyn's faith was exemplary and something she lived for all to witness. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Gary, Craig and Mark and their families during this time of grief and remembrances from the Rainwater family
I was playing horn in the orchestra for 21 feasts.

To her family, I offer my deepest sorry for your loss. She was my friend and I spent many wonderful hours with her in Jerusalem visiting in her room or going with her shopping around town. She was a big help to our feast team after she no longer sang in the choir. She took care of us well and we all loved her.

Lyn was such a sweet, sweet lady. She had such a good sense of humor, beautiful smile, Christian spirit, loving nature not only for her family, whom she always bragged about, but for anyone she met. We were so blessed to have known her.

What a blessing it was to have know Lyn. She was not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside too. She shared her love for God wherever she went. She was so proud of her sons and their families. She will be deeply missed. God Bless

She was a giving, generous and loving woman and I hold many good memories of her in my heart. She will always be "Ima" to me. It's a blessing to know she is in the arms of our Lord and at peace. Lynn was a special lady. When she came to Tennessee I always enjoyed our time together. She impressed me with her Bible knowledge and her sweet spirit. Her words were always kind and her smile inviting. She will be missed but I know that she is blessed to be with the Lord experiencing all of His glory!
