Sarah Nisbet Obituary
Sarah Curtis Williams Nisbet was born August 19, 1913. Sarah passed away at her home on March 31, 2011.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 3rd at 2 pm at the Merritt Island Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Merritt Island Presbyterian Church, 600 South Tropical Trail, Merritt Island, Florida 32952.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I will always remember Mrs. Nisbet as a loving mom who was there for any friends and neighbors to come and enjoy their home ...be comfortable....feel comfortable....she always met you with a wonderful smile and always was always welcoming to me.

To all the Nisbets...I was saddened to hear of Mrs. Nisbets passing. I have many fond memories of weekend days spent hanging out with Sue and "the gang" and feeling right at home. Mrs. Nisbet always made me feel so welcomed. I know it is a difficult time. But I know her spirit lives on in all those she touched. My prayers and sympathy goes out to all the Nisbets. Saddened to hear of your loss. San became a friend to me early in the Leadership Program, a friendship that grew over the years. I came to know her for the pioneer that she was. She will be missed. Deepest sympathies, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hay All Nisbet's,
As growing up on Merritt Island, I have to say Dave and Sarah were what Merritt Island was all about. Just good family and friends to all.. As my dad, Lester Butler, only wanted to own Oldsmobiles, we always went to the Nisbet's Garage. As neighbors to my Uncle Mac and Elinor McLeod, we always look forward to going swimming in the Nisbet's pool (probably one of the only on Merritt Island). Also, I know with change of Merritt Island in the 60's, the Nisbets help form the county in the vast grow that happen. It is a peaceful feeling to know all the old-timers are together again in souls in heaven and body at the Indianola Cemetry.
