Bobby Holmes Obituary
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, (December 27), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, (December 28), at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church 70 Clark St. Geneva. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Bobby was born on August 15, 1962 in Newark, N.Y. and was a son of the late Sam and Bertha (Jackson) Holmes. He was a devoted husband and father who loved and enjoyed the company of his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn (Reese) Holmes of Geneva; son, Shakeem Holmes of Geneva; daughters, Ursula Robinson and Desiree Holmes, both of Geneva; brothers Sherlock (Hartwell) Holmes of Atlanta, Ga., Edward Brown of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Tony Holmes of Rochester; sisters Sharon Jean Bostick of Sanford, Fla., Deborah Holmes of Miss., Carolyn (Rev. Ozie) Johnson of Newark and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was predeceased by his son, Bobby Holmes, Jr. in 2010.
