Charles Divelbliss Obituary
NORTH ROSE - Charles E. Divelbliss, 81, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
Family and friends may call Friday (May 25) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose, where a funeral service will be held Saturday (May 26) at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Rose Cemetery.
For those wishing, memorials may be made to the North Rose Ambulance in Chuck's memory.
Chuck was born May 23, 1930, in Bethel Township, Penn., a son to John E. and Ethel Crawford Divelbliss. He was a veteran of the Army during the Korean Conflict. Chuck retired in 1992 from the Wayne County Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the North Rose Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife Sarah of 56 years; daughter Debbie (Rick) Miller of Wolcott; two granddaughters, Brandi Henner and Melody Divelbliss; one great-granddaughter, Alycia; five siblings, Carl (Carol) Divelbliss, Lloyd (Betty) Divelbliss, Helen (Ray) Barr, Dorothy (Jim) Black and Millie (Matt) Luber; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Roger in 2005, and five siblings.
