Rose Rollo Obituary
Friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sun. (July 26), at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St., Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Monday (July 27) at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Geneva.
Rose was a lifelong resident of Geneva and a lifelong devoted member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Geneva. She worked for many years as a sales associate at McCurdy's in Geneva. Rose has one son, John P. Rollo and had a great love for her immediate family and extended family in Seneca Falls, Waterloo, Geneva and Clifton Springs. She was well known in Geneva to many neighbors and friends. Rose was an avid cook and was well versed in the cuisines of Italy. Her parents migrated from Naples, Italy and Sicily. She loved preparing big meals for her family and friends. Everyone loved Rose's meatballs and sauce!
She is survived by her son, John P. (Mary Ann) Rollo; sister, Celia Bonetti; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Rose was predeceased by her husband, John E. Rollo in 2004; her four sisters, Mamie Ferraro, Mary Leone, Violet Piscitelli and Ellen Antinelli; brothers, Tony and John Passalaqua.

My mom passed away at home where she wanted to be. She couldn't wait to get out of the hospital. We chose hospice care at home because this was her wish. After much struggle she died quietly taking her last few small breathes with me and my wife Mary Ann beside her. I thank everyone who understood she needed to rest undisturbed as she transitioned to death. I am overwhelmed and deeply grateful to all who have expressed their sympathy and good will to mom. These expressions have been uplifting. Thank you all!
