Michael Sweet Obituary

The following obituary is being republished to provide corrected information MICHAEL W. "MIKE" SWEET, 64, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, at his residence. Born July 12, 1938 in Pleasant Lake, he was a Box Machine Operator with Prarie Farms Dairy for 18 years, retiring in 1998. He served in the Army National Guard was a member of Christ's Hope Ministries and Church, Fort Wayne. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Carol J. Sweet of Fort Wayne; sons, Terry, Timothy and Steven Sweet, all of Fort Wayne; daughter, Suzanne Straub of Harland; sisters, Barbara Gordon of Auburn; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charlie and David Sweet. Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday at McComb, Dilgard & Cline, Auburn, with viewing one hour prior to service. Visitation is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn. Memorials to Parkview Home Health and Hospice or Christ's Hope Ministries and Church Building Fund.

Suzanne, We only met you Father once and that was at Johnny's party a few weeks ago. Please accept our deepest sympathy for the your loss of your Father. May God, our Father in heaven give you and John the strength to over come this loss. May he continue to watch over all of us and to guide us though life.
