RICHARD LINTNER Obituary

RICHARD "DICK" LINTNER, 87, of Warren, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, 9:36 p.m., at Heritage Pointe in Warren, where he was a resident. Born Aug. 10, 1934, in Huntington, Ind., Dick was a son of Raymond and Mildred (Smith) Lintner. He graduated from Huntington High School and continued on to receive his Bachelor's degree from Ball State University. Dick married Nancy E. Repp on Nov. 28, 1957 in Huntington, Ind; she preceded him in death on Dec. 18, 2017. After serving in the U.S. Army in Germany, Dick made a successful career working at Weaver Popcorn as an executive. He was a Rotary member and Former President of Associates of Snaxpo. Dick enjoyed golfing and was often seen golfing with his friends at Heritage Pointe. He and Nancy attended Applegate Chapel at Heritage Pointe. Before their move to Heritage Pointe, Dick and Nancy loved to spend the winters on Marco Island in Florida. Loving survivors include his daughter, Julie (Joseph) Eickhoff of Huntertown, Ind.; son, Michael (Linda) Lintner of Traverse City, Mich.; grandchildren, Olivia (Gregg) Toy and Lauren (Ryan) Tosland; and great- grandchildren Ava and Carson Toy. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mildred Lintner and his wife, Nancy Lintner. As per Dick's wishes, a private inurnment will be held to lay him to rest next to Nancy at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington, Ind. Preferred memorials to Heritage Pointe, Warren, Ind., for the Rock Steady Boxing Program c/o Stacia Bollinger, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren, IN 46792. Arrangements have been entrusted to Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren, Ind.
