I have wonderful memories of the handsome Mr. Bois. We met in China, as at a Special Education Conference in the late '80's.
May he always rest in peace.

Richard always brought joy to the pool. In the 15 years that I have been there, I never saw him enter with anything less than a smile. He always took time to have conversation with me on his way in, as well as on his way out. He was friendly to all the other patrons. I admired his joyful attitude at all times (especially, so early in the morning!) Richard frequently asked me about skiing, yard work and how my back was. He even brought in a rake for me to try out because he thought it would be easier on my back. (He was right, by the way, and I went and purchased a rake just like it.) Richard was a thoughtful and kind person. He genuinely cared about others. I will greatly miss our conversations. The pool will feel an emptiness with him missing from the lane. I feel blessed to have known Richard. May the Lord comfort you during this difficult time. My prayers are with your family.

My condolences in the loss of your father. I was a classmate @ Dover HS 1960 with your father, he was a great guy and a gentleman always. My hope for all is that you find some comfort in the many memories and laughter that will be shared in this time of sorrow.
