Charles Fraley Obituary

Charles Fraley, 73, a resident of Newburyport died Tuesday morning February 13, 2018 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. He was born on February 24, 1944 in Thurmont, Maryland to the late Robert and Evelyn (Waynant) Fraley.
Charles was a graduate of Thurmont High School, Class of 1962 in Thurmont, Maryland. He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force after graduation and was stationed at Pease Air Force Base until his honorable discharge in 1966. While serving he met his future wife Mary Kalashian and the couple married in 1967. They settled in Newburyport and raised their family.
Charles was a Driver for the Teamsters for many years and most recently was employed part time for Anna Jaques Hospital. In his spare time he loved to go hunting and golfing with his "Buddies". He also enjoyed his weekly Friday coffee with his friends as well as working in his yard.
Charles is survived by his wife Mary (Kalashian) Fraley of Newburyport, son George Fraley also of Newburyport and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his Uncle's Carroll N. Fraley, wife Celia; Plummer H. Fraley, wife Nancy and Aunt Naomi "Sis" Long, husband Raymond all of Thurmont and Aunt Judy Evans, Glen Burnie; Aunt Sylvia Keller, Midddletown - as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Frederick County.
He was predeceased by his Grandparents Plummer T. Fraley, Step Grandmother Margaret Fraley; Grandparents George and Goldie (Trump) Wisner, Uncle Wilford "Buck" Wisner. Aunt Mary E. Lawyer and husband Strafford Lawyer of Thurmont; Uncle Victor Fraley of DeMoine, Iowa.
