Dear Audrey & family - We were very saddened to hear of Gene's passing. Gene was a very humble, proud, and compassionate man. When I ran into him playing golf, exercising at the YMCA, or doing the many tree jobs at your home, the church, or for many of his friends - he was always cheerful, warm, and full of life. He always lifted the spirits of anyone he came in contact with. His wonderful spirit is now in a better place. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the family. -- Alan & Donna Nichols and the folks at Appalachian Tree Service
