Mr. Gary Glass

Mr. Gary Lee Glass, 54, of 14604 Old Catoctin Road, Foxville, died Saturday, Aug. 7, at his home.

He was the husband of Nancy Lee Hurley Glass, whom he married Feb. 5, 1965.

Born April 30, 1945, in Thurmont, he was a son of the late Palmer Eugene and Earlean Virginia Davis Glass.

He attended Thurmont High School.

Mr. Glass worked for the Frederick County Board of Education at the Career and Technology Center in Frederick for 14 years.

His hobbies were antique cars, fishing and hunting.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Duane Glass of Smithsburg; one stepson, David Lingg of Frederick; three granddaughters, Megan and Greysen Lingg, both of Frederick, and Katelyn Glass of Smithsburg; three sisters, Sylvia Weant, Arlene Fogle and Cindy Shire, all of Thurmont; one brother, Larry Glass of Thurmont; one aunt, Evelyn Tillie Davis of Thurmont; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Glass was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Ricky Glass.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 9, at Robert E. Dailey & Son Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St., Thurmont. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, at the funeral home. The Rev. William Kercheval, pastor of Mount Bethel United Methodist Church, Foxville, will officiate.

Interment will be in Mount Bethel Cemetery, Foxville.
