Mrs. Sanner, My name is Maryann and I work at Central Penn Sporting Clays in PA where George would come to shoot. He will always be the face I will think of when hearing the phrase southern gentleman. George has always been so gentle and kind whenever we spoke, consistently positive and grateful no matter how bad a score he shot. We will miss him very much. Please accept our deepest condolences.

I worked with George in the phone company on and off for 25 years. He was a dedicated and very talented individual, able to learn many facets of a complex company. Through the years we shot together, hunted together and just plain enjoyed time talking ( George was great at that :) Last we spoke was at BOJC fishing camp for boys. I missed him there this year and prayed all was well. The world has lost a bit of brightness.
Blessings and Peace to all who loved and will miss him.

I KNEW GEORGE FOR 45 YEARS, MOST OF THAT TIME AS CO-WORKERS AT THE PHONE COMPANY, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER CARPOOLING WITH GEORGE TO THE LAPLATA CROSSBAR CONVERSION & HIS DRIVING HOME ON THE CAPITAL BELTWAY DURING FRIDAY EVENING RUSH HOUR, VIN DIESEL WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD. WHENEVER I SPOKE WITH GEORGE HE WOULD ALWAYS ASK ABOUT MUTUAL FRIENDS OR FAMILY AND WITHOUT FAIL I WOULD GET AN UPDATE ON HIS FAMILY. GEORGE'S PASSING WILL LEAVE AN ENORMOUS VACUMN WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND I WILL SORELY MISS HIM.
