Joyce Kline

Joyce Claudette Kline, 88, of Middletown, Md., passed away, Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Commonwealth Assisted Living, Hagerstown, Md. Born September 20, 1935 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Earl and Ruth (Bristol) Peters. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Petkus and Juanita Peters. Mrs. Kline retired as a Senior Representative for the Aircraft Owners Pilots Association, Frederick, Md.

She was a member of Faith Church, Frederick. Mrs. Kline is survived by her husband, Richard L. Kline; two children, Tim C. Kline and wife, Elizabeth of Middletown and Laura B. Shipe and husband, Russell of New Market, Md.; one sister, Madolyn McAbee of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, Joshua Kline, Hannah Kline, Leah Kline and Jonathan Shipe and wife, Alivia. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. John Armstrong officiating. Interment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the service.
