Pearl Gilbert Obituary
Pearl was a longtime member of Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, Middletown, MD and retired as a cafeteria worker from the Middletown High School.
In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jack" William Gilbert, her twin brother, Earl Tribbitt and her five sisters, Nubb Marvins, Clara Hardsocks, Margie Tribbitt, Edna Willer and Mert Thompson.
Pearl was the loving and devoted mother to her only son, Jack Francis Gilbert. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9th from 11am to 12:00 noon at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 East Main Street, Middletown, MD, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon with Pastor Kyle Powderly officiating. Interment will immediately follow at the Harmony Church of the Brethren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Pearl's name to the Middletown Volunteer Fire Department, 401 Franklin Street, Middletown, MD 21769.
