Charles W. Shepard
Charles William "Tippy" Shepard, 53, of Spotsylvania County died Friday, July 11, 2008, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Shepard of Spotsylvania; his mother, E. Lorraine Shepard of Spotsylvania; his father, Jackie F. Shepard Sr. of New Hampshire; one son, Steven Shepard of Spotsylvania; one daughter, Sara Goodwyn of Spotsylvania; four brothers, Mark Shepard of Locust Grove, and Jack Shepard Jr., Anthony Shepard and Roger Shepard, all of Spotsylvania; one sister, Paula Oehm of Spotsylvania; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 18, in Sunset Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Eric Pelter officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 17, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Melanoma Foundation, 12395 El Camino Real, Suite 117, San Diego, Calif. 92130.
