William M. Rance
William Michael "Bill" Rance, 46, of King George died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at Mary Washington Hospital. He was a former longtime employee of Mid-Atlantic Coca-Cola and enjoyed golfing.
Mr. Rance is survived by two sons, Mike Rance of Culpeper and Preston Rance of Fredericksburg; one daughter, Amy Jo Rance of Richmond; his father, Bill Rance of New Jersey; and three sisters, Thomasina Whetzel of Harrisonburg, Claudette Rance of Florida and Nancy Rance of Winchester. Mr. Rance is also survived by his fiancee, Judy Dalton of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Gerald Rodgers officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, Rappahannock Chapter, Box 1385, Fredericksburg, Va. 22402.
