Jimmy Pepple Obituary
JIMMY "JIM" R. Age 91. Howell area resident since 1979, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2016. He was born June 15, 1924 in Everett, Pennsylvania, the son of William Ray and Bessie M. (Foor) Pepple. Beloved husband of Lois V. (Hafer) Pepple, whom he married July 21, 1945 in Cumberland, Maryland and she preceded him in death on April 19, 2013. Loving father of Kerry (Annette) Pepple, Shari (Bert) Stieg, Steven Pepple, Julie (Steven) Penfold, and John (Pat) Pepple. Dear grandfather of five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Survived by his two brothers, Jack (Judy) Pepple and Ed (Jo) Pepple. He was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Pepple; and sisters, Bessie Jean Pepple and Betty Mills. Jim retired in 1976 after 30 years from Massey-Ferguson as plant manager. He then worked at Abe's Auto Glass in Howell. He enjoyed woodworking and helping others with home improvement projects. His greatest pride was his family and home. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. with Funeral Services Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at MacDonald's Funeral Home, Howell (517-546-2800). Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Fowlerville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Please sign the family's online guestbook at
